The excitement was palpable in the days leading up to the opening of Gallery F.R.E.N.’s exhibit “Cozy Is As Cozy Does” by renowned artist Yystävällinen Sammako and the artist did not disappoint. An outright Who’s Who of the community had lined up around the block, defying the cold weather, to take part in what is sure to be recognized as one of the great cultural events of the decade. Hugs were shared and hot choky distributed by the gallery to keep spirits up before the doors finally swung to unveil room after room of the coziest art of such an exquisite nature that several frens had to continue the hugging inside, now no longer to keep warm but to share the coziness that were overwhelming from being in the presence of this fine art.

Patron enjoying the art.

Sammako himself gave a brief but moving speech about his inspiration for the exhibit and the frens that inspired him to create these paintings but then left the gallery to find a toilet with the words “oh shid, here we go again,” and did not return until the afterparty at Chez Grenouille later that evening.

Despite his status as an innovator of the arts and the source of the beloved art style New Frenism, Sammako has never lost his grounding and always takes great delight in engaging with his many devoted followers, something the attendees at Chez Grenouille got to witness firsthand. Selfies were taken with him and Sammako willingly and enthusiastically talked to everyone there, exchanging ideas and thoughts in the style of the frivolous salons of the Golden Age of Paris. Only cozier.

As the first light of dawn peaked above the roof tops of Frentown, the party disbanded, richer in heart and soul from the night’s coziness.A thunderous success.
